November 2, 2023
On October 29, 2023, Techblazers Richmond Hill Learning Center successfully hosted a Halloween-themed event and grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new headquarters building in Richmond Hill.
The event welcomed over 100 students, with a total attendance exceeding 200. Children participated in live robot-making sessions in different experience areas, explored 3D printing, and engaged in various colorful arts, illustrations, and painting activities.
June Jiao, co-founder of Techblazers, took the stage to deliver a speech, introducing Techblazers' brand history and its new business upgrade concept in the AI era. The new Techblazer teaching center features more spacious classrooms, highlights personalized customization for children's career planning, and introduces a brand new membership system for a better student learning experience.
Tony Qian, leader of the robot team, education expert, and founding team member, represented the other co-founder, Henry Zhou, to present Techblazers' development over the past 10 years. Techblazers, formerly known as RoboEDU, was established in 2014 and currently has 7 campuses worldwide, making it a leader in the Chinese-Canadian Robotics field. The new location marks a significant upgrade as Techblazers collaborates with top Canadian universities, elite private schools, business incubators, and financing institutions, combining business, politics, and academia to collectively support children on the path to their dreams. Tony also introduced the benefits of Techblazers membership and the biggest discounts during the trial operation period.
Unlike previous course package models, Techblazers has innovatively created a membership community. During the trial operation period, a certain amount of prepaid value makes one a member without paying the first-year membership fee. The prepaid amount can be used for any course, competition training, and all value-added services. Members can enjoy regular robotics, programming, and 3D design courses, as well as competition training in FLL, VEX IQ, VEX, FRC, and global programming competitions. In addition, all members can enjoy online and offline lectures, social events, birthday party gifts or discounts, roundtable meetings, sharing competitions, experience and strategy sessions for further education, and comprehensive services for VVIPs, including summer camps at prestigious U.S. universities.
With the witness of over 200 guests on-site, the founding team of the learning center jointly took the stage to cut the ribbon and take a commemorative photo. A surprise cake was prepared on-site, and June Jiao and Tony Qian, representing all members of Techblazer, embarked on a new chapter together.
Techblazers is excited to be part of the thrilling journey with children in the AI era, serving as their partner in pursuing knowledge, innovation, and personal growth. Techblazers sincerely invites students to join this vibrant adventure, collectively supporting today's dreamers to become tomorrow's innovators.
